Pet-Friendly Hotels

Do you have any pet-friendly hotels?

Yes. As part of this programme, 4 out of our 26 resorts, have designated dog-friendly rooms. The 4 include Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The offering includes Pluto’s Welcome amenity, which gives dogs and their owners a collection of dog-friendly items. Certain floors or sections of a hotel are designated as dog-friendly, while the majority of areas remain canine-free to accommodate guests with allergies or other needs.

Can you guarantee my room will be dog-free?

We can guarantee your request to stay outside of the designated dog-friendly areas at one of these four resorts. The overwhelming number of hotels and hotel rooms at Walt Disney World Resort are not part of this programme, which affects approximately 250 rooms out of a total hotel inventory of 28,000. If you prefer to stay at a hotel that is not dog-friendly, there are several other Walt Disney World resort hotels to choose from.

Is there a charge for visiting with my dogs?

Yes. If you are staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside or the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, a $50 per night charge (excluding tax) will be applied to the room account. If you are staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, a $75 per night charge (excluding tax) will be applied to the room account.

How many dogs can I have in the room?

You may have up to two dogs per room.

Will I be able to bring my pet dogs to the Theme Parks or Disney Springs?

No. Only service animals are allowed in the Theme Parks and Disney Springs.

Do I need to provide veterinary documentation for my dog?

You must be able to provide documentation that your dog’s vaccinations and inoculations are up to date, upon request.

Will I be able to take advantage of onsite Disney Transportation with my dog?

Onsite, dogs may travel by internal buses at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. Dogs are also welcome to travel with their owners throughout Walt Disney World Resort via Minnie Van service. Only service animals are allowed on Disney Transportation motor coaches, monorails or watercraft.

Will there be designated pet relief areas at the resort?

Yes. Green spaces have been identified as pet relief areas. Please note these areas are not under cover. As the owner, you will be responsible for cleaning up after your pet. As a reminder, dogs are not allowed in public areas around the resort, and are expected to be on leash between your guest room and the outdoor relief area.

If a member of my party is afraid of dogs or has allergies, what will you do to accommodate us?

As part of this programme, certain floors or sections of four hotels (out of our 26 Walt Disney World Resort hotels) are designated as dog-friendly, while a majority of areas remain canine-free to accommodate guests with allergies or other needs. This means approximately 250 rooms out of a total room inventory of 28,000 rooms are designated as dog-friendly. In addition, we have a thorough cleaning process for our rooms and will work to accommodate your individual needs.
